A restaurant site that looks as good as the food
A bright, photo-forward rebuild of an aging restaurant site with the full menu, locations, and mobile-first speed. Now also a POS optimization for the same client.

The challenge
Ocean’s Fish & Chicken (Pine Bluff, AR) had a dark, dated website that didn’t do the menu justice and made basics like hours, locations, and what’s actually on the menu harder to find than they should be. For a restaurant, that’s customers lost before they ever taste anything.
What we built
A complete rebuild, engineered for speed and appetite:
- A bright, photo-forward design that leads with the food.
- The full menu, over a hundred items across 18 categories, structured as real data, so updating a price is a one-line change, not a design job.
- Every location with its own hours and details, including coming-soon spots.
- Built as a static site with self-hosted fonts: fast on a phone in a parking lot, which is where restaurant websites actually get used.
And now: the register
Good sign for the site: the same client came back. We’re currently working with Ocean’s to optimize their POS system, the next step in tightening how orders actually flow through the restaurant.
