The barber who stopped answering the phone
FelixBot, an AI agent we set up on OpenClaw, talks with Felix's clients directly to schedule and reschedule appointments, so Felix stays behind the chair.

The challenge
A barbershop runs on appointments, and appointments move. Every “running 15 late”, “can I come tomorrow instead?”, and “what do you have Friday?” interrupted an actual haircut. Felix was losing chair time to his phone, and messages that came in after hours sat unanswered until morning.
What we built
FelixBot, an AI agent built on OpenClaw and tuned for Felix’s shop:
- Clients message the shop like they message a friend. FelixBot answers, checks availability, and books the appointment in the conversation.
- Rescheduling is handled the same way: the agent finds the next open slot and confirms it, no back-and-forth with Felix required.
- It works around the clock, so a 10 p.m. “got anything Saturday?” is booked before Felix wakes up.
- We prompt-engineered it to sound like the shop: friendly, brief, and never making promises the calendar can’t keep.
The result
Scheduling and rescheduling now run themselves. Felix’s day stays organized without him touching the phone between cuts, clients get instant answers at any hour, and the calendar reflects reality instead of a stack of unread texts.
