Rental handoffs without the paperwork

The challenge

Every loaner or rental handoff started the same way: a printed sheet with four email addresses on it, and a customer squinting at their phone trying to send insurance documents from the counter. Documents landed in different inboxes, or didn’t land at all, and staff chased the stragglers by hand.

What we built

InsurePass, a SaaS built by BakrKode for car-rental operations:

• The customer scans a QR code at the counter and uploads a photo or PDF of their insurance card. No app install, no account, no address to type.
• Documents arrive directly in the business’s email, categorized by customer and date: one organized folder instead of four inboxes.
• Nothing to re-type and nothing to chase: staff open their inbox and the paperwork is already filed.

The result

The paper printout is gone. Insurance documents are captured digitally before the customer reaches the vehicle, filed where the team already works, their inbox, with a clear record of what was received and when. And InsurePass is built to bring the next rental operation online in minutes.
