Getting a NYC deli found and ordered from
Google Reviews growth plus DoorDash marketing for a New York deli: the two online channels where a neighborhood deli actually wins or loses its customers.
- Business Visibility
- Google Reviews
The challenge
For a deli, two screens decide everything: the Google result a hungry person sees at lunch, and the DoorDash listing they scroll at dinner. NYC Express Deli was strong at the counter but under-represented on both: thin reviews, and a delivery presence that wasn’t pulling its weight.
What we did
- Google Reviews: set up a simple, repeatable way to turn happy counter customers into public reviews, and cleaned up the business profile so the listing answers what people actually search: hours, menu, photos.
- DoorDash marketing: tuned the listing and promotions so the deli shows up when nearby customers are deciding, and the menu presentation sells.
The result
The deli’s online presence now works like a second storefront: the Google profile earns trust before anyone walks in, and DoorDash brings in orders from customers who would never have passed the corner. Same food, same counter, just more people finding it.
